Working from Warwickshire: what a long stay actually looks like

Roughly a third of our rooms on any given week are long stays — contractors at the engineering plants, academics at the Shakespeare Institute, families waiting on a house purchase.

The rate

From the seventh consecutive night the long-stay rate applies automatically. At twenty-eight nights the reduced VAT rate kicks in, which we apply to your invoice without being asked — a useful saving that a surprising number of hotels leave you to claim yourself.

What comes with it

Weekly housekeeping and a change of linen, a laundry service on Thursdays, secure parking, and a desk and proper chair in every room. Rooms 201 to 206 are the quietest, facing the garden rather than the road.

Billing

We invoice monthly, in arrears, to you or direct to your employer, with a full VAT breakdown. Most of our corporate guests are on account within a week.
